- AI chatbot with RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) technology
- Knowledge base management
- Human agent handoff capabilities
- Embeddable chat widget
- Analytics and reporting
3. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- One person or organization may not maintain multiple free accounts
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Harass, abuse, or harm another person
- Send spam or unsolicited communications
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Train AI models using our Service without permission
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
5. Content and Intellectual Property
5.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of content you upload (knowledge base documents, conversations). By uploading content, you grant us a license to use it to provide the Service, including for AI training specific to your organization.
5.2 Our Intellectual Property
The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by LiveDesk and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
6. Subscription and Payment
- Certain features require a paid subscription
- Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
- All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice
- Payment processing is handled by Stripe
7. Service Level Agreement
We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for any downtime, delays, or service interruptions. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.
8. AI Disclaimer
Important: AI responses are generated automatically and may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs before relying on them. We are not liable for any decisions made based on AI-generated content.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIVEDESK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LiveDesk from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
- You may terminate your account at any time through the dashboard
- We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations
- Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days
- Certain provisions survive termination (e.g., liability, indemnification)
12. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which LiveDesk operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
